Participants apply their learnings utilising the resources and references
provided with real-life case studies and benchmarks and are also encouraged to think / reference their own specific on-the-job projects (where appropriate and where privacy and confidentiality have been assessed and considered).
The summative exercise is a crowning, final, all-encompassing activity that requires participants to spend a substantial amount of time, individually and later in group, and use all of the
knowledge gained throughout the two days to create - from scratch - a data visualisation and storytelling solution based on a fictitious scenario provided. Each participant's solution is then
shared with everyone in the wider group for additional learning, team building and experience sharing.
At the end of the program, group discussions are encouraged, and some additional time is made available for further questions and/or some more tailored, specific advice on an individual or group level. Before concluding, participants are asked to fill out a
‘post-course’ survey to capture / quantify the learning experience output from the sessions. The ‘post-course’ survey also asks key qualitative questions on actionable takeaways from the lessons that can be shared with participant’s organisation and leaders.
